On June 4, 2023. Officers from the Milton Police Department responded to the report of a drunk man passed out in his vehicle. After contacting the man in the driver seat, officers noticed that he had a prosthetic leg. He showed signs of impairment and a field sobriety test was conducted. Because of the prosthetic leg, officers conducted alternative tests. A PBT test revealed a .257 BAC. The suspect was found guilty for operating while intoxicated (5th offense) which is a class G Felony, and a $1950 fine. He was also on felony probation for a previous OWI case and was put on a probation hold. He was sentenced to two years in Wisconsin State Prison and 3 years extended supervision.
