A late-night encounter begins when an officer stops to check on a woman walking alone with heavy bags. At first, it seems like a simple welfare check, and the officer even offers her a ride. But the situation changes when she hesitates about what may be inside her belongings. After giving consent to search, officers find items commonly linked to narcotics use, including foil and a cut straw, which quickly turns the welfare check into a criminal investigation. As the search continues, a female officer arrives and discovers suspected narcotics inside a small container. The woman is then placed under arrest, read her Miranda rights, and questioned about where the drugs came from.
