A woman, later identified as Irda Lazimi, was already on scene attempting to assist the deer. Officers instructed her multiple times to return to her vehicle and leave, but she repeatedly called 911 demanding an ambulance for the animal. She was arrested for obstruction, handcuffed, and transported to the station for processing before being released on summonses. The deer was euthanized due to its severe condition.
