On the 12th of January 2019, Patrick Little (18) was fighting his cousin outside a club in Goulburn when Murray and another police officer arrived. Little was charged and pleaded guilty to affray over that incident. The court heard he was aggressive towards police initially but was cooperative when he was placed into the back of the police wagon. ABC (2020) The footage then shows Murray propelling him into a wall, placing him in a headlock and throwing him into a custody cell door. Murray pleaded not guilty to both charges and maintained throughout the hearing at Goulburn Local Court that his actions were lawful and proportionate. Senior Constable Jeames Iain Murray was 2020 convicted in the NSW local court of two counts of common assault and fined a total of $3,500 for his actions during the arrest of Patrick Little in 2019. In 2021 Mr Murray filed for an appeal. Judge Mark Williams of the district court upheld the appeal on the basis it was his view that Mr Murray's version of events could be accepted and that the force was reasonable and not excessive or disproportionate. 0:00 - Context 0:10 - Bodycam Clifford St 2:28 - Bodycam Police Station 3:26 - CCTV Police Station
