In April 2024, two homeless men were discovered staying illegally at a Hilton Hotel. Neither had paid for a room, and they gained access when one of the men scaled the fire escape and broke in. The man already inside the room then invited a friend over, who was spotted by hotel security. This raised suspicion and led to the police being called.
