The officer's attention was immediately captured by the sight of a vehicle driving on its rim, showering sparks in its wake. Quickly activating the emergency lights and siren, the officer initiated a traffic stop. However, the vehicle continued to travel for about a mile before finally pulling over. Approaching the driver, the officer noted signs of impairment and requested her identification. However, the driver seemed unable to locate her driver's license. Claiming to be returning from a Valentine's Day dinner, she admitted to having consumed just a glass of wine. Doubting her sobriety, the officer administered a field sobriety test, which the driver failed. In an unexpected turn of events, the driver suddenly exclaimed her urgent need to use the restroom.
