On October 29, 2022, in Marshfield, Wisconsin, an officer observed a vehicle pulling in to a closed gas station. This peculiar sight prompted the officer to run a license plate check, which revealed that the registered owner's license had been revoked due to a previous OWI offense. Approaching the vehicle, the officer immediately detected the smell of alcohol emanating from inside, accompanied by the driver exhibiting glassy and bloodshot eyes. Suspecting intoxication, the officer proceeded to administer field sobriety tests, culminating in a PBT which resulted in a 0.22 BAC. The driver, later identified as Brittany, was charged with OWI (3rd), ignition interlock device tampering/failure to install, operating while revoked, and bail jumping.
