Please like, comment, and SHARE! 🙏 🔍 Episode Overview: On January 3, 2025, at about 8:40 PM, Officer Nicholas Losurdo from the Hoboken Police spotted a car parked wrong on Sinatra Drive. It blocked traffic. He turned on his siren to get the driver to move. No luck. The driver stayed put. He stepped out of his patrol car and saw the driver asleep at the wheel. He woke her. Her name was Eileny. Officer Losurdo saw her eyes were red and watery. Other signs pointed to her being impaired. Eileny said she waited for her boyfriend. She wouldn't help or hand over her papers. So, Officers Roberto Cuevas and Alyssa Rivera showed up. They planned to run sobriety tests. Officer Cuevas began with the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus test. Next came the Walk and Turn. But Eileny wouldn't play along. She made up reasons why she couldn't do it. In the end, Officer Cuevas stopped the tests. Her clear signs of impairment and refusal to finish the tests led to her arrest for drunk driving. They impounded her car for 12 hours under John's Law. The officers took her to the Hoboken Police station for more steps. There, they read her the standard rights for drivers. She said no to breath tests. A check of her past showed many arrests for DWIs and other crimes. With that history, she couldn't drive without an ignition interlock. They gave her these tickets: Driving under the influence Refusing breath samples Consent for breath samples Reckless driving Slow driving that blocked traffic Refusing to install ignition interlock She also got a ticket for bad parking under Ordinance 190-03. They let her go to a sober friend until court.
