On February 20th, 2023, in Florida, a routine traffic stop takes a dramatic turn when officers pull over a 21-year-old driver whose license had been suspended and whose vehicle had no insurance. What should have been a simple ticket quickly spirals out of control — the driver refuses a lawful order to step out of the car, resists arrest, and then threatens to punch the officer, instantly turning a misdemeanor into a felony. 📜 She was charged with resisting arrest without violence, driving with a suspended license, and no proof of insurance — with an additional felony charge under consideration for threatening a law enforcement officer. 📜 Officers offered to let the family keep and re-insure the vehicle instead of towing it.
