On July 20, 2025, Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies were flagged down in reference to reckless driver who had almost struck someone. Deputies located the described vehicle moments later, parked with hazard lights engaged. Their investigation revealed that the 28-year-old driver had operated the vehicle after consuming Twisted Teas at a party. The driver performed standardized field sobriety tests and was arrested for driving while under the influence of liquor. A breath test revealed a breath alcohol concentration of 0.14%. She was transported to the Santa Fe County Detention Center. Prosecutors dismissed her charges without prejudice the following day.
