On November 1, 2024, a citizen called the Union Township Police Department to report a reckless driver, who was possibly under the influence. Sgt. Bishop located the vehicle in the Walmart parking and made contact with the 3 women, which included the 19-year-old unlicensed driver. Officers indicated in the police report that they could smell burnt cannabis and alcohol coming from the vehicle. The driver was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests and she was later arrested for DUI. After providing a urine specimen, she was released back to the care of her two questionably sober friends. Her charges are listed at the end of the video. Her case is still open and all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
