buymeacoffee.com/BlueLineLens On June 11, 2025, at approximately 10:45 p.m., Police Officer David Smentkowski observed a vehicle double-parked on the 300 block of Jackson Street. When he activated the emergency lights, the vehicle began to move but failed to stop at a nearby stop sign. When the driver, later identified as 34-year-old Davon Alston of Elizabeth, was pulled over, he began to honk the car horn and yell out the window, at one point threatening to harm the officer. Alson refused to exit the vehicle. Multiple officers showed up to assist. Alton eventually complied and got out of his car. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and charged with obstructing the administration of the law and making terroristic threats. He was also issued a summons for failing to stop or yield. After being processed, Alston was released on a summons. These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. #bodycam #police News
