On 07/24/2024, at approximately 2023 hours, an officer was working an extra duty detail at a location when a male aggressively approached their vehicle and started yelling. The aggressive male approached the driver's side of the patrol vehicle and knocked on the window several times. Startled, the officer lowered the window and asked what was going on. The male claimed he was in his parking spot, to which the officer explained that the parking spots were not assigned and that they were working for the location. The male continued to express his dissatisfaction, stating that none of the residents wanted police at the docks. The male then began recording on his phone and asked for the officer's name and badge number, which were provided. The male requested a supervisor, and soon after, another officer arrived. The male became more aggressive towards the officers, drawing attention from passersby who attempted to intervene. Despite their efforts, the male continued to verbally abuse the officers. The male's behavior led to his arrest for disorderly conduct. It was later discovered that the address on the male's driver's license did not match the location where the incident occurred.
