Here’s a clean, YouTube-ready description that keeps all your facts but makes it more readable and professional: --- On April 25, 2026, at approximately 10:42 A.M., I was patrolling near the 281-mile marker on Interstate 40 westbound when the West Memphis Police Department (WMPD) requested state assistance regarding an active pursuit. I joined WMPD as secondary while the pursuit moved through Broadway and MLK and continued onto Interstate 55 northbound. Dispatch advised the suspect was being pursued in connection with aggravated assault. Speeds reached approximately 130 mph near the 1-mile marker on Interstate 55 northbound. As the pursuit entered Memphis, I remained secondary while WMPD maintained primary. Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) was notified and en route. I continued providing location updates until the pursuit passed Exit 7 on Interstate 55 northbound. Shortly after passing Exit 7, the suspect vehicle ran out of fuel and came to a stop on the right shoulder. A felony traffic stop was conducted by WMPD, Trooper Eli Thomas, and myself. All four occupants were detained and the vehicle was cleared. Due to the circumstances, I instructed that no search of the vehicle be conducted at that time. The driver was identified as Kilyzjhia Williams, along with all passengers. After identification, it was later determined the pursuit originated from a routine traffic stop rather than aggravated assault. THP arrived on scene and was briefed on the situation. THP advised they would not hold the suspects and would not request a wrecker for the vehicle. All individuals were subsequently released. The driver arranged for a family member to bring fuel to the scene, and THP remained on location until the situation was resolved. WMPD later returned to pursue warrants, and we were advised to clear the scene.
