On March 23, 2026, deputies responded to a convenience store after employees reported a woman who refused to leave the property. Store staff said she had returned to the business multiple times throughout the day, became argumentative with employees, and continued grabbing bags of chips after being told to stop. Deputies found the woman showing signs of intoxication. While attempting to identify her and determine what had happened, deputies said she refused commands, continued reaching for merchandise, and allegedly balled up her fist toward an officer before being taken into custody. She was later transported to jail. She was charged with: Trespass After Warning (Failure to Leave Property Upon Order of the Owner) Resisting an Officer Without Violence Court records show she spent the night in jail before appearing before a judge the following morning. She later entered Not Guilty pleas, was accepted into a pretrial intervention program, and the State ultimately dismissed both charges.
