On the night before Valentine's Day, Sunrise deputies received a call that two young children had been left alone inside a stranger's Uber for nearly three hours while their mother was nowhere to be found. When officers tracked her down, her story didn't add up. In this video: Bodycam captures the full investigation and the shocking truth about where she actually was while her kids sat alone in that car. On February 13, 2026, Emily Sabigal took her two children to karate before getting into an Uber headed home. She exited the vehicle mid-ride — leaving her kids alone with the driver for nearly three hours while she drank at a nearby bar. Bar staff confirmed she had been drinking for hours and was asked to leave multiple times. Sabigal gave officers multiple conflicting explanations. She was charged with child neglect and child desertion and released on a $3,000 bond. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty. At Sgt. Consequences, we bring you real, unfiltered bodycam footage from across the United States. Subscribe for new videos every week. #bodycam #policefootage #truecrime
