Despite multiple instructions to gather his belongings and leave, Jamal repeatedly refused. At one point, he even challenged officers to arrest him and threatened to resist if they attempted to do so. After continued non-compliance, officers informed Jamal that he was under arrest for his behavior and refusal to vacate the premises. When they attempted to place him in handcuffs, Jamal pulled away aggressively, prompting officers to fear a potential physical altercation. In response, the police deployed a taser device and reiterated the need for Jamal to comply with the arrest by placing his hands behind his back. Following the tasing, Jamal eventually calmed down, allowing officers to handcuff him without further incident. Subsequently, Jamal was taken to the hospital for medical evaluation before being processed at the county sheriff's office. He has a history of behavioral issues and struggles to control his temper.
