Little Rock, AR- What started as an investigation into stolen trading cards quickly turned into a tense arrest scene inside a crowded sports card shop. According to police, a suspect allegedly stole over $1,000 worth of collectible cards from a game store and was later recognized after attempting to sell the same items at another local business. When officers arrived and attempted to speak with him privately, the suspect refused. Officers then informed the man he was under arrest for felony theft of property. Rather than complying with commands, the suspect allegedly resisted officers' attempts to place him into custody, forcing officers to call for additional units while patrons, including small children, were moved from the store for safety.
