[Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only] Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada — On Friday, January 23, 2026, York Regional Police (YRP) investigators, with the assistance of Air Support, intercepted a "prolific break-and-enter crew" during an active investigation. The aerial footage, released by the York Regional Police, captures the surveillance and subsequent tactical takedown of four suspects linked to a series of 20 residential break-and-enters across the York Region. The video begins with YRP Air Support observing burglary suspects jumping out of a second-floor window of a home and entering a white Toyota RAV4. The vehicle is tracked to another location where the suspects briefly stop and exit the vehicle to swap plates before continuing on. As the vehicle attempts to flee the area, ground units strategically surround the SUV. Tactical officers effectively box in the vehicle to prevent a high-speed pursuit, leading to a high-risk takedown. All four suspects were taken into custody without further incident. Inside the vehicle, investigators recovered approximately $50,000 worth of stolen property. A subsequent search warrant executed at a residence associated with the suspects in Richmond Hill led to the seizure of an additional $100,000 in stolen goods, bringing the total value of recovered property to $150,000. The suspects, identified as Zurab Gogua, Muiedin Ziizadinov, Irakli Khitarovi, and Gia Tchavtchavadze, face a combined 20 counts of break-and-enter with intent, 16 counts of possession of property obtained by crime, and charges related to participating in a criminal organization. The investigation into the ring, which began in October 2025 following a break-in in Vaughan, remains ongoing as police anticipate further charges.
