On June 15th, 2024, officers in Ohio responded to a local daycare after receiving a call about a civil protection order violation. The caller had gotten into a dispute with her ex-partner over his civil protection order as officers made their way to the scene. Upon arrival, officers located the caller, who called the police about her ex-partner being present at her children’s graduation ceremony. While responding at the scene, the officers learned the caller had an outstanding warrant for her arrest for failing to show up to court for a previous charge. Officers spoke with both parties involved. The ex-partner explained he was attending his child's graduation ceremony when the dispute began, escalating to the point where the woman threatened him with a fire extinguisher. Further investigation revealed that the man had not been served with a civil protection order as claimed by the woman. When officers attempted to place the woman under arrest for her outstanding warrant, she resisted, pulling away and refusing to comply with the officer's commands. Despite repeated efforts by the officers to place the suspect in handcuffs, the suspect continued to resist and swear. Eventually, the suspect was placed in handcuffs and placed in a police vehicle for transport to jail. The suspect was charged with Obstructing Official Business and Resisting Arrest. #police #bodycam #cops ~~~ ** Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only.
