On January 20, 2024. A deputy from the Walworth County Sheriff's Office stopped a vehicle because the plates did not come back as being valid. The deputy stated that he saw the passenger rolling a blunt when he approached the vehicle. The occupants were asked to step out and a search of the vehicle was conducted. Marijuana was found and nobody claimed it to be theirs. The deputy decided to charge the driver because it was in his bag. The driver was cited with “Possession of Marijuana”1 a $426 citation.
