On December 6, 2022, an employee of the Little Ceasars Pizza called the Sheboygan Police Department to report a driver allegedly consuming alcohol while waiting in the drive-thru lane. Officer Fickett located the vehicle in a nearby parking lot, but the 23-year-old driver denied consuming any alcohol. The driver also refused to let Officer Fickett search the vehicle. When the driver refused to perform standardized field sobriety tests, "she" was arrested for DUI. That started a nearly 20-minute negotiation session to get her to step out of vehicle. Eventually, she complied and was handcuffed. She was taken to the Sheboygan police station and submitted to an evidential breath test. The result was 0.27% BAC. She was eventually cited for Operating While Intoxicated (1st Offense), Driving a Non-Registered Vehicle, and Having an Open Container of Alcohol. She was ultimately released to the custody of her mother and sister.
