This police bodycam video captures one of the strangest traffic stops in Ohio history — where officers discovered a pet raccoon sitting in the driver’s seat holding a meth pipe during a stop in Springfield Township. Officers initially pulled over the vehicle after learning the driver had an active warrant and a suspended license, and she was detained without incident. But as the officer returned to the car, he noticed something bizarre: a raccoon named Chewy was in the driver’s seat with a glass methamphetamine pipe in its mouth. The discovery led deputies to search the vehicle, where they found a bulk amount of methamphetamine, crack cocaine, and three used meth pipes. The driver was charged with multiple counts of drug possession and paraphernalia along with a citation for driving on a suspended license. Thankfully, Chewy the raccoon was unharmed, and authorities confirmed she was a licensed pet with proper documentation.
