On, 03/22/2026, I Trp. Landan Reather #164, observed a black Tesla Model 3, bearing Arkansas BIC70M, traveling northbound on the Midland bridge at the Crawford county line. I visually estimated the vehicles speed to be 75 miles per hour in a posted 40 mile per hour zone. I utilized my in car radar and observed the vehicles speed at 80 mph as it began to accelerate rapidly. I activated my emergency lights and siren in an attempt to initiate a traffic stop. Upon activation of my emergency equipment, the vehicle continued to accelerate, fleeing from me. I began pursuing the suspect vehicle and it turned left onto South 7th Street and continued for a short distance before turning onto South Jefferson Street. The vehicle then traveled south on Jefferson Street for approximately one block before turning left onto South 6th Street. The vehicle continued and returned to Highway 64/Broadway Street, where it traveled southbound. The vehicle then turned south onto Highway 59, continuing to flee at a high rate of speed and in a reckless manner. The pursuit continued southbound on Highway 59 before the vehicle turned south on to Drennen Street. At the intersection of Drennen Street and South 3rd Street, I conducted a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI), which successfully caused the vehicle to come to a stop. After the vehicle stopped, the driver, Deven Alston 04/16/2001, and the passenger, Wilfredo Seda 01/22/1997, were taken into custody without further incident. A search of the vehicle was conducted, revealing an open container of alcohol, two small containers of marijuana, and a Glock Model 23 handgun serial #CDKZ958. Seda was advised of his Miranda warning and stated the marijuana was belonged to him. Seda stated he had a medical marijuana card. I located an Oklahoma medical marijuana card is Seda's wallet. The marijuana containers did not display a prescription label and the seals were broken. Seda was transported to Crawford County Detention Center. I observed Alston to have watery eyes and was emitting an odor of intoxicants from his person. Alston was transported to Crawford County Detention Center for BAC testing. Alston's BAC result was 0.14. Alston was then booked into Crawford County Detention Center All evidence has been submitted to the Troop H evidence vault. The located firearm was logged on the Auto Storage Report and released with the vehicle to Eddie's Towing.
