On February 27, 2025, a misunderstanding, more of an argument between friends inside an Uber headed to the airport, escalated to the point where the UBER driver left the friends on the side of a road and left with their baggage. In the end, one of the friends was arrested for disorderly conduct when he couldn't control his behavior. He was released on a summons with a pending court date. It is unknown if they made their flight. These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. An arrest is not a finding of guilt: that’s something for a court to decide.
