He found a Subaru Legacy stuck in the grass. Witnesses saw air duster cans inside. They thought the driver might be drunk. He met the driver, Jenna Matthews. He noticed she seemed impaired. He called for more help. Two air duster cans sat on the console. Jenna said she hadn't used them. Officers Jamie Mendez and Esterlin Estevez arrived. First responders checked Jenna. She first refused hospital care. Officers then arrested her for DWI. She then said she felt dizzy. She wanted to go to the hospital. They took her to St. Clare’s Hospital. Her car was towed for 12 hours. Police found 16 air duster cans. They were from seven brands. At the hospital, Jenna agreed to a blood test. A nurse drew her blood. It was stored as evidence. Jenna was released to her mom. She had to sign papers. She will appear in court. Jenna got several tickets. These included DUI and reckless driving. She also had a suspended license. Other tickets involved car equipment. She was charged with using chemicals. She was also charged with possession. This was for inhaling the fumes. Jenna had prior arrests. She was arrested for DWI in Boonton. She was later charged in Riverdale.
