On January 10, 2024, Officer Antonio Bellomo of the Cranford, New Jersey Police Department observed a vehicle driving erratically and conducted a traffic stop to investigate the driver's ability to safely operate the vehicle. The traffic stop, captured in this video, led to the arrest of the driver for driving under the influence (DUI). The driver faced multiple charges, including DUI, refusal to submit to breath testing, maintenance of lamps, failed inspection, and failure to maintain lane. On March 28, 2023, the driver appeared in court, where all charges were dismissed except for the maintenance of lamps charge, resulting in a $570 fine. As of August 2024, no payments have been made towards this fine. NOTE: While the thumbnail suggests our suspicions as to the contents of the wax fold found in the driver's vehicle, we can not be sure what the substance was as the reports do not reflect that information.
