Body camera footage from two separate police responses at the same residence shows a relationship already spiraling out of control before eventually ending in a violent confrontation with officers just two days later. The first incident began on February 8th, 2026, after police responded to a domestic disturbance involving allegations that a man had threatened his girlfriend with a machete during an argument outside the home. Officers attempted to separate the parties and de-escalate the situation, which eventually turned into a trespassing dispute without an arrest being made. But on February 10th, officers were called back to the same residence again after several 911 calls reported the woman returning to the property, yelling outside the home, and throwing trash onto the lawn. Despite being given repeated chances to leave, the situation escalated when officers attempted to take her into custody, resulting in a chaotic physical confrontation captured on body camera footage. Following the incident, she was transported to a local hospital before later being booked into the county jail on multiple charges, including resisting an officer with violence, battery on law enforcement, disorderly conduct, trespassing, and marijuana possession. Court records later showed prosecutors dropped several of the more serious felony allegations and reduced the case to misdemeanors. She ultimately pled guilty to resisting an officer without violence, disorderly conduct, and trespassing after warning. She was sentenced to 39 days in county jail with credit for time served, followed by 12 months of probation with additional court-ordered conditions. Viewer discretion is advised.
