In March 2024, Fort Myers police responded to a nightclub disturbance and told 25-year-old Jaylee to leave the private property, but she continued arguing with officers. After being arrested, she kept asking questions, discussing her criminal justice education, making a bathroom request, and prolonging the booking process. The encounter became a lengthy police interaction involving repeated arguments, custody procedures, and safety concerns before officers transported her to jail.
