This video features real law enforcement bodycam footage from a chaotic Easter Sunday incident outside Northland Church in Longwood, Florida. According to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, an off-duty deputy was working traffic control at the church when he witnessed a driver strike a parking staff member with her vehicle. When the deputy approached and ordered the woman to stop, investigators say she accelerated and struck the deputy in the knee before leaving the scene. Deputies followed the vehicle with emergency lights and sirens and eventually stopped the driver at a nearby intersection. Authorities say the confrontation continued when officers attempted to take her into custody, with the woman allegedly kicking and scratching deputies during the struggle. The suspect now faces multiple felony charges, including aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, fleeing law enforcement, and leaving the scene of a crash involving injury. This video documents the incident and law enforcement response through official body-worn camera footage. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
