Police report: “On 01/24/21 Sarasota Police Department Officers responded in reference to a suspicious incident. Officers spoke with Jarren, who advised he heard what he believed to be a police officer in distress on a traffic stop. When officers began searching the area Sgt. Forrester observed a dark gray Chevy suv with a windshield mounted light bar with red and blue lights activated. Sgt. Forrester conducted a u-turn to investigate. He initially lost sight of the vehicle. The vehicle was found abandoned in the Ringling School parking lot. School surveillance showed the vehicle parked in the student parking lot. A bullhorn and LED light bar were observed in plain view in the vehicle. School surveillance video showed a black female in a black dress exit the passenger side and walk towards the school dorms. School security located the subject hiding under a stairwell. The subject initially identified herself as Shedonne, but was later identified as Ryshawnna. Ryshawnna had an outstanding warrant. She was placed into custody and transported to the department to speak with detectives. Officers contacted a second subject related to the incident identified as Jymeika. Jymieka also had an outstanding warrant and was placed into custody. Investigation revealed that Ryshawnna recorded and posted a video on Facebook which showed Jymieka operating the gray Chevy Trax and conducting a traffic stop on a 2012 Kia. During the traffic stop the suspect vehicle occupants could be heard making many threatening statements. Detectives were advised by the victims in the Kia that they thought the suspects who stopped their vehicle were law enforcement and they were in fear. Victims advised it was not a prank and they did not know the suspects.”
