On the 18th of May, 2024, an officer was dispatched to a location in response to a reported physical altercation between two males. Prior to the officer's arrival, it was reported that one of the males was seen lying in the street, yelling and screaming. Upon arrival, the officer observed two males engaged in a heated argument. One of the males, identified as Male A, claimed that the other male, identified as Male B, had assaulted him by tossing him around and into the street. Male A also stated that Male B had taken advantage of him because of his visual impairment, alleging that Male B had thrown away his guide-cane. Despite sustaining injuries, Male A declined to press charges. Emergency medical services were called to assess Male A's injuries and transport him to a medical facility. Meanwhile, Male B denied any wrongdoing, stating that the altercation was merely a verbal argument that escalated. Despite multiple reports of the altercation, Male B maintained his innocence and claimed that Male A was exaggerating the situation. The officer noticed signs of alcohol intoxication in Male B, who appeared unsteady on his feet and exhibited difficulty maintaining balance.
