On August 11, 2023, an officer from the Menomonee Falls police department observed a vehicle attempt a U-turn. The vehicle was not able to stay on the roadway, drove up onto the curb, struck a light pole, and continued driving. The officer stopped the vehicle and contacted the driver who showed signs of intoxication. The suspect driver was asked to conduct field sobriety tests and was eventually arrested for operating while intoxicated. A record check showed he had three prior convictions. The driver refused to consent to a blood draw so a search warrant was obtained and a forced blood draw was conducted. The driver was booked, issued several citations, and transported out to the Waukesha County jail. This video is for educational purposes only.
