On July 29, 2023, Miami Township police received a report of an erratic driver. Officer Mills spotted the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. However, the 28-year-old female driver failed to stop for several minutes. She eventually pulled into her driveway and stopped. She admitted that did not have a driver's license, had an open container of alcohol in the car, and consumed part of the White Claw on the way home from work. She was asked to submit to standardized field sobriety tests (FSTs) and was arrested for DUI. At the police station, she submitted to an evidentiary breath test (EBT). The result was only 0.046% BAC. Nonetheless, she was cited for operating a vehicle impaired and 3 other violations. The outcome of her charges is discussed at the end of the video.
