It was reported that the occupant of a silver sedan had fired shots at nearby residences, crashed into a Chilhowee Park fence on Lakeside Street, and ran from the car. Bailey quickly arrived on scene and encountered the male subject, later identified as 38-year-old Leroy Brooks, on Lakeside Street. After being confronted, Brooks fired at Bailey, and Bailey returned fire. Brooks then ran into the woods off of Lakeside. Nobody was struck or injured in the exchange of gunfire. After an extensive search, Brooks was found unresponsive in the woods. Responding officers administered Narcan to Brooks, who then regained consciousness and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. After his release from the hospital and upon continued investigation, Brooks was charged with attempted first-degree murder, multiple firearm offenses and reckless endangerment. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Special thanks to Shout-Out Supporters on Patreon: - 'DIY Solar Power with Will Prowse' - 'BossNation' - 'Cartoonjunkies' - john ferroato - Kristin - 'Fishy Tuna' - Kelli Lloyd - 'GotsNoGroove Cheryl' - 'OUR CRAZY HOUSE' - Lynn Boyer - Exus Altimus - Mateusz Adam Katana - 'Dawesenm' - William Bowman - Paul Rohrbaugh - Sandra McGreevy - 'Krazy KZ' - Koby Bland - Christopher Payne - Zach Williams - Michael R Sheffield - Rich Biggs - 'JTrip' - Lee Roberts - Brant Eaton - 'General X' - 'jadeennff' - James Pringle - 'AccuShoot.com' - Meighan Garrick - 'Sopaul' - Lisa Overly - Connor Davies - 'Necko' - Gerardo Flores - Anthony Eufemio - 'Donkbot' - Gage Kissinger - Eian Smith - 'HelloDarknessMyOldFriend' - 'coco Coco' ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Support us at BuyMeACoffee: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/PoliceActivity Support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/PoliceActivity Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/Police_Activity 🛍️ Check out our Amazon store: https://www.amazon.com/shop/PoliceActivity 🛍️ Disclosure: Please note that we will receive a small commission from purchases made through our Amazon store.
