A New York State Trooper was standing at a crash scene in Franklin County when a Dodge Durango blew through a stop sign and slammed into her patrol car. Police say Trooper Bailey Martin was helping investigate a property damage crash at State Route 458 and State Route 30 in Duane, New York. Moments later, the Durango came through the intersection, struck the trooper, and crashed into her parked patrol vehicle. The driver said sunlight kept him from seeing the stop sign. Trooper Martin was taken to Alice Hyde Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries and has since returned to duty.
