On August 19, 2024, several people called the Hoboken Police Department to report a man who was passed out in his vehicle. The man claimed he was just resting, but several witnesses claimed they observed the man drive his vehicle to location he was parked at. The man was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests and he was subsequently arrested for DUI. He was transported to the Hoboken police headquarters, where he refused to submit to chemical testing. He was charged with driving while under the influence of liquor, refusing to submit to chemical testing, and reckless driving. His case is still open and his next court date is October 18, 2024. All suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
