What starts as a minor open container stop quickly turns into a much bigger problem when a young woman hands police an ID that appears to clear everything up — until officers realize it doesn’t actually belong to her. At first, it seems like she’s only getting a simple citation and will be free to go. But once police take a closer look, the entire situation flips. A routine alcohol violation suddenly becomes an arrest when officers determine the ID she used was fake and that she knew exactly what she was doing. This real bodycam footage shows how one bad decision during a simple stop can turn a small fine into serious criminal trouble within minutes.
