In Charlotte County, sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a Walmart in Punta Gorda Florida for a report of a theft in progress. The store’s asset protection specialist told deputies he had been surveilling a male and female target for approximately 40 minutes and observed them switching the UPC markings on the merchandise and placing the items in their cart. To this end, the suspects intended to pay substantially less for each item by scanning the fraudulent UPC. Deputies make contact with the suspects and escort them to the Walmart operations center for processing. #bodycam #police #crime Check out full length body cam videos on our other channel here: https://youtube.com/@BlueBlotUncut?si=pK-SsmpaJVdDr0Ne Blue Blotters receives content through open records requests and the footage is intended for educational purposes.
