On Sunday, December 22, 2024, an officer responded to a report of telephone harassment. The complainant reported receiving a constant stream of phone calls and text messages from the father of her child, which allegedly began after she took custody of the child due to the suspect experiencing a mental breakdown. Although the officer initially instructed the suspect to cease contact, a subsequent records check revealed an active Order of Protection (OOP) for the complainant. On Wednesday, December 25, 2024, law enforcement determined that the suspect's actions violated the OOP, leading officers to locate him at a residence where he was arrested without incident. The suspect was transported for booking, charged with one count of Violation of Order of Protection, and transferred to a county jail.
