On November 17, 2024, Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Lawson stopped a motorist after observing several traffic violations. The vehicle was being driven by a 20-year-old female. When Trooper Lawson mentioned to the woman that her eyes were bloodshot, she admitted to consuming one Coors Light. She was asked to participate in standardized field sobriety tests, which resulted in her being arrested for Operating a Vehicle Impaired (OVI). She was transported to the Miami County Sheriff's Office to perform an evidential breath test. The lower of the two breath samples was 0.219% BAC (nearly 11 times the legal limit for someone under the age of 21). She was issued numerous citations and was released to the custody of her friend's mother. The outcome of her case is discussed at the end of the video.
