Bodycam: an Arizona trooper stops a semi truck for a stuck blinker — and finds 250 kilos of cocaine under the sleeper bunk. A commercial vehicle stop on eastbound Interstate 40 near Holbrook, Arizona. The violation was minor: hazard lights on, then a left turn signal left blinking. What followed was a routine commercial motor vehicle inspection — and an electronic logbook audit that fell apart on camera. The driver's ELD showed him logged into the sleeper berth at the exact moment the trooper's lights came on behind him. Hundreds of miles of driving were recorded to nobody. Asked to explain, he named a co-driver he called "Uncle" — with no last name. Then the trooper asked to search the truck. No warrant. No K9. The driver said yes, four times, and signed a written consent-to-search form. Under the bunk: taped kilo bricks. Arizona DPS reported 553.8 pounds of cocaine total, concealed in a produce load moving from California toward Canada, with an estimated street value between $16.6 million and $22.1 million.
