On June 17, 2025. Officers from the Kaukauna Police Department responded to a residence to locate an individual named Jeremy, who had a felony warrant for his arrest. When officers arrived, they observed a Toyota minivan backing out of the driveway and attempted to conduct a traffic stop after the driver, Jeremy, failed to come to a complete stop at a stop sign. The minivan did not pull over and continued driving at normal speeds. Eventually, Jeremy returned to the residence he had originally left from and pulled into the driveway. He exited the minivan and ran toward the garage. Officers pursued after Jeremy and shouted "Stop!" and "Police!". He did not stop and continued running into the house. An officer then deployed his taser towards Jeremy and he fell forward into the house and landed on the floor. Jeremy was then compliant and allowed officers to secure him in handcuffs. A female inside the home walked into the kitchen toward the area where Jeremy was. An officer told the female to get back, which she did. EMS responded and transported Jeremy to the hospital. Detectives went with the ambulance and ultimately transported Jeremy to the Outagamie County Jail after he was medically cleared. Jeremy was found guilty for Resisting/Failing to Stop, Resisting or Obstructing an Officer, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail and ordered to pay $1,329 in fines.
