What starts as a serious crash scene quickly turns into a DUI investigation when officers question a driver who admits she had been drinking before getting behind the wheel. At first, the focus is on injuries, broken glass, and getting everyone away from the damaged vehicle. But as officers begin asking simple questions, the driver’s story becomes more concerning. She admits to drinking, struggles to explain what happened, and then has trouble following basic field sobriety instructions at the scene. From the chaotic aftermath of the crash to the roadside tests and the eventual arrest, this bodycam footage captures every moment as the case shifts from accident response to drunk driving investigation. The tension keeps building even after transport, when officers begin the breath test process back at headquarters.
