"I'm being detained for sneezing! Y'all going to make the news, bro!" 😷 What started as a routine return at a Palm Coast, Florida Walmart ended with a man in handcuffs, a viral bodycam clip, and one of the most unusual defenses deputies have heard all year. On May 3rd, 37-year-old Channing Cooks tried to exchange about $100 of baby formula without a receipt. When the employee followed store policy and refused, an argument broke out. According to the employee and store surveillance, Cooks lunged toward her and spat in her face. Deputies from the Flagler County Sheriff's Office found him shortly after in a nearby CVS parking lot. Cooks insisted it was an uncontrollable sneeze. Deputies saw it differently.
