A Houston hotel robbery did not go the way the suspect expected. Police say a man walked into a hotel lobby on Katy Freeway carrying a rifle and demanded money from the front desk clerk. As he started climbing over the counter, the clerk pulled out her own handgun and aimed it right back at him. The suspect froze, backed off, and ran out of the hotel without getting the cash. The whole thing was caught on surveillance video inside the lobby. One of those moments where the robber instantly realized he picked the wrong clerk.
