Officers were in the parking lot of an Arby’s restaurant when they overheard two men arguing near the business. Police say Terrell Harris was yelling at another man, identified as Brian Smith, while Smith attempted to walk away from the confrontation. According to officers, Harris continued yelling despite multiple commands to leave the area and allegedly followed Smith across the street toward the 83rd Street area. Officers attempted to separate the two men to prevent the situation from escalating further. Police say Harris ignored repeated commands, continued yelling in the roadway, and resisted officers as they attempted to detain him. After a brief struggle, officers — with assistance from an Arkansas State Police corporal — took Harris into custody. MEMS responded to evaluate Harris for possible injuries while an officer was treated for a minor cut sustained during the incident. Harris was transported to PCRJ and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Real. Raw. Right Here.
