On June 16, 2024, a text to 911 reported shouting behind a closed door in Columbus, Ohio. Officers responded, a man fled, and the search continued for several hours before Devon Blair was taken into custody. This edited documentary follows the initial response, efforts to help Brooke, the search, the arrest and transport, and later interview-room footage. The opening shows a brief moment from the later arrest before returning to the start of the response. Police-supplied redactions are preserved; part of the rescue footage has a black image with audio. According to the supplied case file, Brooke and her unborn child died in hospital. The final progress report dated July 28, 2025 records Blair’s sentence as 46 to 51½ years. The collection of samples shown in this video does not establish a laboratory result.
