In the final incident of our compilation, Arkansas State Police Trooper Alexandria Duncan stops a suspect who blew past her marked unit doing 114 mph down Interstate 49. What starts as a high-speed traffic stop instantly turns into a brutal fight for survival on the shoulder of the highway. The suspect, later found to have a blood-alcohol level twice the legal limit, refuses to exit the vehicle and violently resists. The struggle spills out of the car, where the suspect wrestles the trooper’s Taser directly out of her hands and kicks her in the head multiple times. Even with a brave civilian bystander rushing in to help, the chaotic hand-to-hand struggle forces the exhausted trooper to draw her service weapon and fire a single round to end the violent assault, grazing the suspect's temple. The suspect survived and was taken into custody.
