Deputies responded to a disturbance involving a tow truck driver and the owner of a vehicle that had reportedly been marked for a parking violation within a residential community. By the time deputies arrived, the vehicle had already been attached to a tow truck and a dispute was underway regarding whether the tow was lawful. According to the arrest report, investigators determined that the woman entered and remained inside the vehicle after it had been hooked up for towing. Deputies stated that she refused multiple commands to exit the vehicle and at one point attempted to move it while it was attached to the tow truck. Following the arrest, investigators determined that the woman provided an incorrect last name and date of birth before her identity was ultimately confirmed. She was arrested and charged with: • Trespassing (F.S. 810.08(1)) • Resisting an Officer Without Violence (F.S. 843.02) • Providing False Identification to Law Enforcement (F.S. 901.36(1)) Jail records show bond was set at $250 for the trespassing charge and $1,000 each for the resisting and false identification charges. She was released on surety bond later the same day.
